Tips for the Day

Start Early

Gates open at sunrise. Early mornings offer the best sightings, especially near waterholes at dawn.

What to Bring

Binoculars, camera, sunscreen, and a hat. Pack snacks and lunch or use rest camp restaurants.

Park Rules

Stay in your vehicle at all times. Speed limit: 50km/h on tar, 40km/h on gravel roads.

Best Sightings

Best game viewing during dry winter months (May–September). Waterholes at dawn and dusk are prime spots.
