Take the N12 from Johannesburg or the N4 from Pretoria, heading east past Witbank and Middelburg to Belfast.

Pick up the R540, then the R36 through the Abel Erasmus Pass and Strijdom Tunnel.

Join the R527 toward Hoedspruit. Continue approximately 26 km.

Turn left into Richmond Road at the marked signs for The Hidden Valley.

Follow the gravel road for 6.8 km, keeping right at the split.

Proceed 1.4 km to the Blyderus Reservaat gate.
From Hoedspruit

Turn off the R527 approximately 20 km from Hoedspruit (approximately 2 km after the Blyde Garage).

Turn right into Richmond Road.
